At Leaders Convention 2023, First Financial Security, Inc., announced that the company will sponsor the Minor Football League to promote the shared values of youth mentorship and community service. The MFL is the nation’s only minor professional developmental football league, providing a platform for athletic training and development for those outside the college and football arenas. Through their community outreach programs, the organization has also been committed to the advancement and mentorship of underprivileged youth since 1993.
On top of providing an outlet of professional achievement for its athletes, each MFL player and dancer is expected to dedicate 100 hours of community service per MFL season. With 16 franchise teams in America and 16 more in Africa, the program wields a wide range of influence as an instrument of change, upholding the same standard of integrity and goodwill that FFS agents provide by bringing all people financial security and peace of mind.
FFS Chief Executive Officer Ron Wheeler shared the stage with MFL founder, Chairman and CEO Dr. Richard D. Myles, Sr. at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas to introduce the sponsorship to the field. “We like football, but we really like what the MFL is doing with their outreach programs for underprivileged youth,” said Ron Wheeler, pointing to the aligned visions of the two companies. “Together we can be an outlet for change.”
