Meet Vince Rokose, Chief Marketing Officer
When Vince Rokose joined First Financial Security’s senior management team in November 2014, it was more than the latest stop in a 20-year career in the financial services industry. It felt like coming home.
Within a few weeks of joining the organization, Vince was praising the family-like atmosphere at the Home Office, as well as the collaborative spirit exhibited by the Headquarters’ team and field alike. He was excited to roll up his sleeves and get to work applying many of the skills and experience he’d accumulated over the years to his new role as Chief Marketing Officer.
“There’s an energy you feel when you walk through the doors [the Home Office] that’s exciting,” Vince says. “The focus is on the field first and helping field members realize their dreams. You can’t help but want to be a part of it and contribute in every way you can.”
His 20-year industry career began shortly after Vince graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J. He took a position with Merrill Lynch that focused on branch office profitability and analysis.
From there he went on to work for a number of industry leaders, including a few organizations that share a similar business model with First Financial Security, Inc. During this time he developed systems and tools to measure and improve agent & office performance, was responsible for corporate development, and oversaw all Operations functions.
Vince sees great opportunities ahead for First Financial Security, Inc. “The sky is the limit,” he explains. “We’ve got the right people at the Home Office and outstanding leadership in the field. Everything is in place to build a huge national, and eventually global, sales organization. I’m excited to be a part of that future.”
Vince and his wife, Suzanne, live with their two children, Olivia (19) and Davis (17), in Johns Creek, GA. This athletic family enjoys spending time playing and watching a variety of sports together, including tennis, baseball and golf.
