FFS Onboarding Better than Ever with Complete Success Tracks in Recruiting and Selling
First Financial Security, Inc.® has spent most of 2020 launching Success Tracks™, our comprehensive online learning curriculum which aims to house everything our agents need to know to start a business in our thriving industry. Our goal has been to eliminate the hard parts of starting a business, such as access to training, marketing and technology, by providing these resources on a single platform that is available 24/7.
These courses are structured around the proven system developed by FFS experts to lead entrepreneurs to unlimited success as business builders. The FFS Business Building System revolves around three core principles of entrepreneurship: Build a business, Sell the products and Lead your team. With these principles, agents will have access to all the information necessary to run successful businesses.
Success Tracks launched in March 2020 with a core curriculum of how to get started with FFS, including licensing and contracting courses. We have now expanded to more than ten full courses, including the most recent GET SELLING: Making the Sale course. This completes our robust Build and Sell units, with a full Lead unit to be built in the coming weeks.

Every agent must complete two Success Tracks courses before diving into how to run their best business — First Things First, our complete introduction to FFS, and Get Started, a guide to the wide variety of life insurance products along with walkthroughs on to how to grow a business, how to build a team and how to get licensed and contracted with our carriers.
After completing these two courses, agents will move onto lessons which outline the three principles of the FFS Business Building System.
The power behind building a business lies in getting others to join in the success. In the Build Principle, our agents master the fine art of business building by cultivating the most essential aspect — the team members who will help run the operation.
Courses in this track walk agents through their first 90 days at FFS, help them create their elevator pitches, outline the warm and cold markets and gives advice on how to follow up with prospects. Later courses include ROAD TO RMD: Business Fundamentals, where agents learn what it takes to advance in the industry, and ROAD TO RMD: Mastering the BBS which provides more advanced lessons on understanding the Business Building System.
Giving people financial security and peace of mind is the heart of our business. To help our agents achieve that goal, our Get Selling courses give instruction on how to market many innovative and unique insurance products, from annuities to indexed life policies. Furthermore, some of these courses allow agents to learn directly from our carrier partner representatives and other experts in the field.
These courses give agents an introduction to selling in their first 90 days, then follow up with in-depth lessons on unique and innovative products like the IUL and annuities, a lesson on each of our carrier partners and the policies and procedures of working with each, and our latest GET SELLING: Making the Sale course, which outlines the details of the selling process from the Needs Analysis to delivering the policy.
Strong leadership is key to a well-run business, but it can be hard to know the right way to lead. It takes the right information to make the decisions that will guide a team to success. Our Get Leading courses teach agents how to use our tools and technology to gain insight into every team member’s performance and every sale’s progress — just what every entrepreneur needs to plan out every day.
Our Home Office team is hard at work building these Get Leading courses and debuting them in the coming weeks. Courses in this unit will teach agents how to set goals for their teams, check if they’re meeting them and correct their course when needed. They will always give our agents the tools necessary to motivate their teams, reward excellence and address potential problems head on.
